Vive Nw (Trimet) I made a TV ad for a local travel agency in Portland that creates content for Spanish-speaking viewers. I did the camera work, visual effects, audio, and video editing—it was a lot, but it all went smoothly.
My main challenge with this ad for Trimet was finding a good tap device downtown. If I had more time, I might have found one, but time was running out. So, I had to rely on visual effects.
First, I used a technique called rotoscoping to separate the background from the lady’s arm holding the card. Then, I fixed up the tag on screen.
I made a 3D Hop Fastpass, animated it, and mixed everything together to finish the ad.
It turned out pretty nice, if you ask me!
Construvias Inc. was my first experience modeling road safety equipment for a catalog and technical data sheets. I remember they were pressed for time to publish their catalog, and the device had an extremely glossy material. So, I optimized the materials, lighting, and render setup, and the final result turned out pretty cool.
Ecods. is a brand of recycling machines that play a crucial role in the initial phase of the pipeline, collecting plastic to be transformed into road safety signals. This animation was designed to count the number of bottles being recycled and to say “thanks” for contributing to a greener planet.
White Paper Stationary is an event design and organizing company from my country. I met the manager and designer through a friend, and these folks are incredible—highly professional and open to diverse creative perspectives. I had the chance to animate two logos for different sports events in my hometown. It was a fantastic experience working together.
